Hello everyone ! Yah, been a while. but, I'm posting again. It's been a lot of work trying to get the chickens , rabbits and garden going, all at the same time. CRAAAAAZY ! How ever, I did survive it . I loved every bit of it.....Thought I would give you guys an up-date on the chickens. I'll do it in segments ( a lots gone on) since we talked last. Frist, above- the little ones when we got them, so tiny and cute.
Here they are 1/2 grown. The weeks as they where growing where so interesting. They looked different every day it seemed.
Here they are today ! BEAUTIFUL aren't they ? Oh ! and , I started letting hem out into the yard to run and graze, they come right back and so far never have left the back yard. No Eggs YET ! This weekend was there ,"do to start laying date". Come on chickies, time to start payin for your keep . They got us all on egg shells here just waiting... Pun intended. P.S. The black and white rooster was the free chick that they send with each order. Rock's wife Jamie liked hem cause she though he was pretty and she lllloves George Strait , so that's what he was called for a long time. BUT, he then became the first rooster to crow correctly and he sounded and looked like the Kellogg creole rooster "those of you who can remember that far back." So can you guess what we call hem now ? Kellogg.
